Since 2011 the sustained efforts of our dynamic team to preserve and promote the heritage of the Abenakis Aboriginal Nation have been recognized within the tourism, cultural and economic sectors.

Excellence Award in the Research Category
The Musée des Abénakis managed to surpass the current standards of museum practice as it promotes understanding and acquisition of new knowledge through its archaeological project Odanak Fort: the past revisited.
2015 Quebec Aboriginal Tourism Award
Cultural Centre/Interpretation Site/Museum Award
This award recognizes the Museum that stand out by offering a tourist experience and exceptional quality visitors and puts forward the influence of Aboriginal culture in all its forms.
Société des musées du Québec
This award was given to the Museum for the media , economic and social impact of a project that has managed to create links and meaning for an entire community , Fort Odanak : the past revisited
